fnatic triumph at IEM5 GC Shanghai

The favored Swedish side, fnatic, defeated TyLoo.raw in the Final of Intel Extreme Masters 5 Global Challenge Shanghai and secured a spot at the IEM5 World Championship in 2011.
First map that fnatic and TyLoo.raw clashed on was de_nuke, one on which the Chinese team impressively secured a place in the Final yesterday, defeating their comrades TyLoo 16-0. Therefore, it could have been expected that this will be a close affair, but fnatic quickly took matters into their own hands and won their CT side 11-4. In second half, the Swedes secured the pistol round, and it was only a matter of time before they would finish of the map. They did so rather quickly as the final score of the first map ended up being 16-7. The result could have been closer if there wasn't for Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl, who won three 1vs2 situations throughout the match bringing his team a few perhaps unexpected rounds.
Second map was de_train as fnatic started on the favored CT side. That proved to be a lot of trouble for TyLoo.raw as they found themselves down 13-2 at the half. Needing an almost perfect second half, the Chinese did manage to win the pistol round and start off quite good, taking an 8-0 lead. The European giants then regained control and finished off the match with the result 16-10 to win the first event in the 5th season of Intel Extreme Masters.
Broken tag
fnatic have therefore secured their second title after the recent lineup change, having won GameGune last week.
They received a cheque worth $14,000 for the success in Shanghai, as well as a spot in IEM5 World Championship in 2011, while TyLoo.raw got $7,000.
